Weather in January

Sailing on Jan. 6 going to Cozumel and Progreso. I've never been on a cruise in the winter. Late March is the earliest in the year. I know the temperatures are quite pleasant but are they warm enough to wear shorts and flip flops and swim with the dolphins? And what about temperature on the boat in the evening? Just trying to avoid packing too much. Thanks in advance for all help.

We were in Cozumel at the end of January this year and the temperatures were in the low 80's. The night were a little cooler.

We usually go in January. The weather is usually in the mid 70 to low 80's

Bring bathing suit for the day, and light sweater for evening just in case you need it.

We were only cool in Miami. It felt like summer the rest of the time, just with extremely shortened days.
