cirman52 Posted August 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2013 When you are looking at future cruises while on board, does X help you her sister companies ? Like, linking a cruise with X and with Royal or Azamara ?
Kathie44 Posted August 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2013 You can book with the other lines, but you won't get whatever special deals X is offering for their own bookings.
Cote d'or Posted August 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2013 FYI, since august 1, 2013 Celebrity has a new "Passages' program, with new rules and amounts for the OBC you will get. For open or reserved passages bought before August 1 2013 the original rules will remain. OBC for new reserved passages depends on type of stateroom and cruise length, with a maximum of $500 for a 16+ nights cruise in a suite, except AquaClass Suite and Sky suite. For open passages it's only cruise length, with a maximum of $200 for a 16+ nights cruise. Every passage, reserved or open, is combinable with one other promotional consumer offer. I tried to find a link to the new program, but apparently it's not online yet.
Kathie44 Posted August 18, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2013 I hope they are not going back to the previous format, with the expensive cabins getting more OBC, leaving us with less expensive cabins a lot less. That went over like the proverbial lead balloon and they went back to using the number of nights as the main criterion.
