Eng23 Posted August 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2013 Anybody have a map for a short sight seeing walking tour for Cayman Islands? tryed ports of call but got no reply. The port area is certainly walkable as is the town area the port is in. If you are wanting to see other parts of the island I suggest using the local buses to get around. Many of the attractions/sights and beaches are a 15 minute or more ride from the port. Grand Cayman is a bigger island than most people think. back-at-it Posted September 3, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Right as you get off the ship you are in a little secure area that has a bunch of shops and a outside bar. But if you go out across the street to the right, you will see Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and then past that a large building/small mall with different shops and we found another Bar/Restaurant on the second floor. Was a fun couple of hours. We did this after a tour to Hell and Rum Cakes. This was one of the best ports we went to.We will be back there on OCT 19th on the Carnival Legend. I think we will just walk again to the shops. Oh Ya, the best part was there was a Harley Davidson shop at the pier. Got a t-shirt with Grand Caymans Harley on it. :)
