Yeah I have been wondering too why the late delay on leaving port. Weird. It left late last week too. :confused:

Me too! My son and GF are on it. For a minute I thought I'd been watching the wrong ship. Weren't they suppose to leave at 4 pm?

Just talked to my mom. They're not leaving until 8 due to maintenance. She said they just announced it

I see someone else posted the info. My friend called me from her balcony. She said at first they said they were waiting for some late passengers to arrive. They postponed muster. She called me and said now muster was over but they still weren't sailing. While we were talking there was an overhead announcement that said they were doing scheduled maintenance on the thrusters and they weren't finished yet. They are expecting to sail at 8pm.

 

She says the ship is beautiful and looks great, but there's tons of kids on board. In her town, kids are back in school on Monday so she thought there wouldn't be so many children. She'll still have fun, but she was surprised.

Our kids still have another week of summer! Alas I'm a teacher and report back tomorrow....

Actually I decided not to wait and headed home anyway. Teachers report back tomorrow. Bright and early! 14 weeks until thanksgiving break (and my next cruise!)

Currently on the ship. They are saying scheduled maintenance but apparently it appears to be an on going issue. Originally we were to leave at 4:00, then changed to 8:00, currently 9:30, and now the update is "they will let us know".....
