Susie B. Posted August 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2013 We'll be in St.,Thomas 8am-5pm on a Tuesday in November. We really want to go to the Soggy Dollar bar and hang out at White Bay for the day. Has anybody ever done this via the Dolphin Water Taxi? or other boat? The public ferry leaves too early in the morning for it to work with our ship's arrival time.
criscraft42 Posted January 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Dolphin Water Taxi came recommended to us by another company. I, as well as many others, decided to take the ALL-INCLUSIVE package to Jost Van Dyke for New Year’s Eve. The crew of Dolphin Water Taxi was extremely incompetent, drunk, belligerent and anything but helpful for the entire trip. Expect false promises, multiple delays, rude employees and overall CRAPPY SERVICE. The owner, Greg, doesn’t care about his company’s reputation otherwise he would attempt to fix the reoccurring issues that happen every year. Shame on you Dolphin Water Taxi, we will see you in court. ONCE AGAIN, BE AWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND FALSE REVIEWS FROM THE COMPANY'S FRIENDS. Ms411 Posted January 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Going to the BVI on your own is too risky for cruisers, IMO. Timing is too tight, and nature and governments are involved. That's a dangerous combination.
