Martini Bar on Voyager Class Ships

We are Select Captain Club Members from Celebrity and we definitely enjoy the Martini Bar they offer on their ships. We found the Martini Bar is a very popular gathering spot before dinner as well as for singles throughout the evening. I know Voyager Class ships have a Champagne bar but where would one go (what bar on ship) to get the better Martini on a Voyager class ship other than a "special of the day" type drink. ?? We are sailing on the Explorer of the Seas Jan 15, 2006.

No Martini Bar in Voyager Class. All have the Champagne Bar, but the newer ships also have a wine bar. I can't say that any particular bar has a better martini that others. Some bars, like the Schooner Bar, and the Viking Crown lounge make some drinks right at the bar, so then you need to find a bartender you like and stick with him. Others, like the Pub, and other lounges, don't have a full stock, so drinks are made at other bars or "back of the house", making it hard to get consistancy.

Thanks for the reply...then fact that only 2 bars makes their own drinks at the bar is very relevant especially when you want a good martini and we will take your advice. WE have the found the Champagne bars on Celebrity always under utilized and I am surprized RCCL still operate by themselves. Looks like a "prime" opportunity to expand the Champagne bar and increase revenue!!
