Holland Am. Line Barbados Turtle Encounter

I am interested in this (not to be confused with the Barbados Catamaran Turtle snorkel which is more for experienced swimmers). This is the one that goes to West barbados by Sandy Lane Beach and not far from the port (with the banana boat rides at the end). My question is: If I am not a swimmer , but know how to float only, would this be an ok excursion for me? i am aware that they will equip me with a life vest....could anyone tell me what kind of life vest (I've had life vests that were sort of flimsy and although swimmers liked it, i didn't ) and if i will feel safe as a non-swimmer? i have been snorkeling once before, but there was a guide that took 2-3 of us non-swimmers as we held on to a tube. I realize that this time, there will not be that kind of guide. Thanks in advance to anyone who took this specific tour!
