currency exchange at port in dubrovnik

Is there a place at the port where I can exchange money for kuna as I would like to use the local bus to get into town and return?

In answer to my own post, I found that there is a currency exchange on the main road outside the port. Money can also be exchanged at the post office just outside the port.

 

Instead of using the ship's shuttle, you can use the local buses - #1a or 1b which will take you to the main bus terminal in Dubrovnik located a short distance from the gate to old town. Fare is 12 kuna per person which at latest exchange rate is just over $2 USD per person one way. However you need to pay in kuna.
