Puerto Rican(Ponce)husband will turn the big 65 on the day we return to PR from our cruise.We are staying a day before flying home.

I wanted hubby to wake up in PR for his B Day.

Luis talks about Piones ,Can you tell me what hotel is closes to stay for a day? Isla verde or condado?

Closest hotels are in the Isla Verde area. The physically closest is the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde Beach resort. From there to Piñones is about a 5 minute drive. Or you can pick from the Ritz, Embassy Suites, El San Juan Hotel, Verdanza and Intercontinental. Farthest of them is still about a 7 minute drive.

As already mentioned, the hotels in Isla Verde are closest to Piñones. But the ones in Condado are only a handful of minute farther.
