I read somewhere that liquor was cheaper in Progreso than Cozumel. Is that true. Is it true of all stores there?

The last few times I have been to Progreso, the Tequila has been cheaper than Cozumel prices.

 

There are alot of good sales on the ship too. For example, I remember the Crown Royal being very cheap on the ship.

 

I go to the store right off the ship. I usually wait to get it on the way back to the ship so I don't have to carry it in town.

 

I guess it in what you are looking for to purchase though.

 

I get my vanilla and other trinkets in Cozumel though. Hope this helps.

My brother in law gat a certain kind of tequila in Cozumel last year and he want's me to get him some. They don't have it on the ship.

I just came from both ports.

 

Progresso<<<<Carnival<<<Cozumel

 

Cozumel had higher prices than the ship and Progresso by far. Of the brands that Progresso and the ship both had, Progresso had the better prices. But overall Cozumel has the best/widest selection of spirits.
