SqueakyDust Posted July 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2005 Has anyone done this? If so what are your thoughts. Also, anyone any idea of how much it costs?
cindi0511 Posted August 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2005 We did a Snuba excursion we set up ourselves on our Sept. 2003 trip to St. Thomas. We thought it was well executed with safety instruction and all. My jaws have given me problems for years, so I was unable to bite down on the mouthpiece correctly for that long, so I did not get to enjoy the excursion as much. HOWEVER, THAT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT!!! I can't remember who our guide was, but she was wonderful and kept checking on me. We paid about $60-$65 per person, and I just snorkelled above my husband and sister and brother-in-law who loved and and want to go again on our trip next year (2006). My sister and brother-in-law had never snorkelled or dove before, and they had a blast. Highly, highly recommend it.

bayjoens Posted August 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2005 Squeaky, we just did this last week in St Thomas at Coral World. It was fabulous! The cost was about $55USD and definitely worth it.
Stranger1 Posted August 26, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2005 We did it on Barbados through RCCL (can't remember the company, but it was around the Boatyard). Anyway, we had a great time and the guides were outstanding. Took us out to a wreck and also saw some nice fish.
