pamurchu Posted July 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2005 If we book port excursions through Carnival, and the ship needs to alter its destinations due to weather, what happens to the charges on our credit cards? Does Carnival automatically cancel the shore excursions, or are we responsible for doing that ourselves? Is there a cancellation charge left on our bills? As a first time cruiser I was just wondering. With all of the storms cropping up in the Caribbean, this was beginning to concern us. zonemasconi Posted July 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2005 if you book thru Carnival and for any reason (weather, ship problems) your tour will be cancelled and your cc refunded (actually what they do is charge your sail and sign card first then if its cancelled for any reason by carnival they just delete it. unless you pay your s&S bill by cash then they refund the money directly to your sail and sign). have fun on the Glory she is a very nice.
