Carrie77 Posted July 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2005 I love lighthouses and I noticed that there is a lighthouse that is on or near Kennedy Space Center? I looked it up on-line and it looks like it is off os SR 405. It also said it is not open to visitors and is owned by the Airforce. My question is this..can we drive down SR 405 and take pictures from off the street of the lighthouse? Or can we not drive down SR 405 after we hit the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center? My also idea was...the Kennedy Space Center offers free tours with your admission ticket. You get to see the LC3-9 Observ. Gallery and the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Do you think I'll be in a close enough range to get a picture of the lighthouse (I know it'll be in the distance) while on the bus tour? Just curious..any advice? My question is this..can we drive down SR 405 and take pictures from off the street of the lighthouse? Sorry, no. Or can we not drive down SR 405 after we hit the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center? Bingo. The gate is a short drive past KSCVC. My also idea was...the Kennedy Space Center offers free tours with your admission ticket. You get to see the LC3-9 Observ. I believe that some tours will get you close by. Offhand, I don't know which ones will do that, you would have to ask them there. Hope it helps. best, John ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mariner of the Seas, 11/
