no fuss travel Posted September 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2013 We are thinking of taking this cruise in 2015, my questions are: what is the advantage of a balcony when you are reaching the colder climates? Clothing for this one? We have done the Great Wall and plan on flying directly home from Beijing as we have been there before. I have been to Japan and Korea in February and March and know how cold it can be and I know that Singapore and others are very hot. I am busy trying to talk the other half into doing the cruise in 2015:)
Hawaiidan Posted September 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2013 having sailed this route prior, ther is no advantage to a balcony or even to me or even an outside cabin! Not much to see except in Hylong bay... rest of the time far off shore And yes it will be darn cold... in China, I was in Korea which is south ,, in Feb and it froze every night. lots of bare trees...and ice. I suspect the wall will be very cool.. expect a lot of overcast days inland... Thats my experience.
