Breakaway Haven questions

This is our first time in a suite and I am excited and a bit confused. How do I know what things are available to us. I have read about people having meals in their rooms, meals in the Haven courtyard, getting favorite snacks left in room, getting soda etc. I don't want to find out at the end of the cruise of all the cool things I missed out on. Do they give you this info when we get on the ship? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Any info that I received was from the nice people here at CC....:D

Onboard, I was told welcome and call us if you need us. lol :)

We were escorted by Haven staff to the Jungle show. We were brought in first, before it was open to the non-haven guests. You can also get escorted off the ship when your leaving. You have to meet in the Haven area at the time that they specify, and you will be escorted off. At least that was my experience.

You can have specialty restaurant food delivered to your room, or the Haven restaurant. You pay the cover charge of course .

I can go on and on.... Anything in particular you want to know about?

Your butler is the person for all your in room items. We told him what we liked and didnt like regarding food and snacks. He asked the time we would like the afternoon items. He figured out what we liked and brought more of it. The soda unless you are in the highest end suite is not free.

How do you know what was available for snacks so you could pick out what you liked?

You can ask your butler. :) When he comes to your room to introduce himself and show you how to use the coffee machine, use the opportunity to talk to him and tell you what you like and see what he can do. :)

I love pretzel rolls. Once my butler heard that, he delivered them still hot from the oven. Finger sandwiches, fresh fruit. He even bought us Caviar one afternoon.

The day that the seas were a bit rocky, he showed up with lots of green apples. Many people swear by green apples for seasickness.

Sometimes they serve canapés. Not my favorite :(... they have some fish ingredients in them. You can tell your butler what you like. I mentioned fruit, cheese n crackers, chocolate. You do get chocolate covered strawberries one day :D I also had the French pressed coffee delivered to my room. Just ask for anything you really like as a snack. Enjoy!

Yes, he bought us a plate with crackers, cheese and Caviar. It was priceless watching my children taste it and not know what it was. Lol. Their expressions were absolutely hilarious when I told them what they just ate. :)
