Panorama deck on the Glory

Has anyone ever booked a cabin on the panorama deck on Carnival Glory? The only balcony cabins left for an October cruise are on that deck. Is it too high, too far from activities, etc. We are senior citizens in relatively good shape. I must make a decision soon. Thanks so much for any help.

The Panorama and Lido decks on the Conquest Class ships are my very favorite decks to stay on. The rooms are very convenient to the pool and buffets. Also there are two sets of elevators (regular and glass elevators) that will take you straight down to purser's desk, gift shops, main theater, photo gallery, etc. You couldn't ask for a better location. Just try not to stay too far forward, as that's when you'll start feeling the motion of the ocean. Good luck!

I was on the open area at the front of the Panorama deck this morning watching us come into New York. What a beautiful view! As the previous poster said there are elevators to get you down to the dining rooms and the other public areas. We stayed on deck 8 and didn't feel a thing; however, the seas were like glass so we did not have a good indicator.

I was in room 1023, a balcony on panorama. If you plan to be on the lido deck a lot it's a great area. If you are more of gamblers and want to be close to the casino area, shops, bars, and dining rooms I would suggest a lower deck. It was a very quiet, lovely deck but for us, we would prefer to be on a lower deck. But, that's our personal preference :)

On 3 of my Glory cruises I was on the panorama deck. I love it!! Close to Lido, and elevators right there to take you everywhere else.

No more noise than on other decks. Even on the balcony there was not much noise from the Lido deck. Walk outside and serenity is right there, just up a small set of stairs.

I don’t know if it is an issue for you – but the starboard side of the Panorama deck is the smoking area – but it would all be aft of your cabin.

I think the motion is about the same. I prefer the higher decks because there is too much vibration on the lower decks to me.

We stayed on the Panorama deck in Jan. with our daughter. We Had a great time, the Panorama deck was wonderful. Once we got home we tried to book another cruise Jan. 2014 and all the rooms for 3 or 4 guests on the Panorama deck were already sold out (a year in advance). We had some very rough seas but I didn't think it was any worse than any other floor. The view from that level is amazing.
