Wine in Miami

I am flying into Miami before flying to Heathrow, can we get to duty free in Miami? We will have come in on an International flight. Want to buy our wine for boarding in southhampton.

in MIA there will be plenty of duty free shops in the terminals (not sure which airline so I will just speak generally). They will have you pick it up at boarding gate just before stepping on the plan, so assuming you have enough time, there will be no problems.

Double check. I do not KNOW for sure, but most duty free have liquor for sure. Wine?

You are better off buying some wine in Southampton. There are some reputable Wine Merchants in the city centre, and they are not all that expensive. You won't be saving much on Tax by buying it via Duty Free.

Ah, missed that part. They will have wine, but very very limited selection.

Typically you have to make your Duty Free purchases BEFORE you board your flight, not when you land. Especially if you are coming internationally into the USA, they will send you through customs, then baggage, then out the door to the Miami Sun.
