we are going on fos in october but we fly in the day before staying at the hilton double tree at orlando airport can any one tell me if down town disney is close by, its both my parents birthday while we are on the cruise and was hoping to get to the rain forest cafe for one birthday surpise but if its too far i will have to find something else any information is very welcome:)

It is about 25 minutes by car, west on the 528 toll road to the I-4 and then to Downtown Disney.

Were overe there often, food is just ok but the experience is pretty cool. Just be advised that the wait times are normally crazy long in the evening. It was an hour 1/2 for 2 people last time we went, no biggie if you plan it right though.
