i know ther's a limt to the number drink on cheers, but can i purchase it before iboard through carnival.com?

From everything I've read I don't believe you can. Some ships (those from Texas) can't even sell it to you until day 2 of a cruise. I'm sure you'll get a more solid answer shortly.

You cannot purchase it in advance and like a PP said in Galveston it can't be purchased until day 2. In all other ships it's only available on day 1 or 2.

 

And it's not unlimited it is 15 drinks and you can't purchase additional drinks once you have reached the limit.
