Recommended Posts

Anybody know if there is typically enough time to do the NCL Stingray City Snorkel excursion and walk into town to do some exploring afterwards?

We were in Grand Caymen in January this year and actually did two excursions and shopped around town. We did an excursion to Stingray City that did not include snorkeling but we were in the water petting the stingrays. When we returned from that we did an excursion around the island that included a visit to Hell. And then we shopped around town for at least an hour. We had the people at the excursion desk help us figure it all out.

I went on the Spirit last March & did the Stingray City tour. But, the ship left late from Cozumel the day before, and our tour in Grand Cayman was rushed. Needless to say, we got back to the boat, 30 minutes after we were supposed to set sail. No time to wonder around Georgetown unfort. If you do decide to do Stingray City, then just do it first thing and only stingray city to get it out of the way.
