Caribbean princess mini suites on dolphin

Hi everyone

 

We are going to book on Caribbean princess and are trying to find the quietest area, with cabins above, beside and below away from elevators etc. in a mini- suite.

 

The mid-aft area does not have inside cabins on the deck plan, but just a blank area. When we phoned princess to see what was there - storage rooms, prep areas, loud stuff? - they just said it was probably and I quote "wall padding or a janitor closet".

 

Can anyone clarify --which mini suites do you recommend on that ship? Any input is very much appreciated.

I was in D708 on the Caribbean Princess last year. It was very convenient to the aft elevators and we never heard any noise from the elevators or anything else.

I was just in D-619 on 9/21 to 9/28/13. I would not choose this cabin if tenders were going to be used a lot/ early in the morning. Too much noise when being lowered. It would wake you up with very loud grinding noises.
