Question regarding price drop before final payment is due

Talk to them. If they don't want to get you the price drop get a new TA. The money isn't out of their pocket but rather the cruiselines. They may loose a couple of bucks in commission but if they don't understand customer loyality is worth that small amount then time to find a TA who does.

So, if the price of my cruise has dropped (approx. $600 drop) and it's before final payment is due, however I am booked thru a travel agent, do travel agents usually honor the price drop and drop the price?

They should! If not, file a complaint. If booked directly with Princess, they send you an updated invoice for lower price.
