Search for Pharmacy in Belize City

I think I previously saw a recommendation for a pharmacy in Belize City. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to find one if it exists.

I will be there on a cruise in February. I want to purchase Premarin because I can no longer get a prescripiton from dr. for it.

We shop in a pharmacy twice a year in Belize but it is difficult to direct someone there so we suggest that when you get off of the tender, ask a local person there.

There are several pharmacies there & we prefer the one that is located in a little shopping area that is behind one of the many jewelry shops there closest to the direction where the ships are anchored.

Idiot here - you can get prescription meds without a prescription in Belize?

Yes. Well meds that don't require a prescription there (some stuff you still would need a doctors prescription). That's actually true of a lot of foreign countries, not just Belize though, Belize just happens to have pharmacies in the tourist areas. ;)

When we were there in June there was one right at the port where you tender.

There are at least 3 pharmacies in the port shopping area. I think they all are owned by the same person. There is an American pharmacist in one of them who is quite helpful.
