homeinboca Posted October 14, 2013 #31 Share Posted October 14, 2013 Happy Thanksgiving to our fellow Canucks. Here is 9 reasons for us to be thankful for Timmies. http://www.buzzfeed.com/dray/9-reasons-to-love-tim-hortons-4666 It was also a great weekend of hockey where east beat west (sorry!) :) Soon we leave for our FL home and get to celebrate another Thanksgiving with our American family and friends. simok99 Posted October 14, 2013 #32 Share Posted October 14, 2013 Ok....how come Canadian thanksgiving is October and the American thanksgiving is in November , and how come we Brits never have thanksgiving? But we do have bonfire night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
skf Posted October 14, 2013 #33 Share Posted October 14, 2013 ....how come Canadian thanksgiving is October and the American thanksgiving is in November It's because the Canadians have all the best farms, & have Thanxgiving during the harvest. We're kinda dumb that way. The reason Britons don't get Thanxgiving is because the turkeys are native to North America. So native, in fact, that I saw eight of them walking thru the Valley Street Cemetery last week. Steve
