*Luv2Cruz* Posted February 19, 2014 #201 Share Posted February 19, 2014 (edited) Where's a good location to have a M&G during sailaway in both an inside or outside location (dependent on weather) for a get together with a view of the statue of liberty?;) Thank you in advance for your input!:D Edited February 19, 2014 by *Luv2Cruz*
meatball_nyc Posted February 19, 2014 #202 Share Posted February 19, 2014 (edited) the Statue of Liberty will be on the starboard side. Upper most public decks should be fine for viewing. Not sure about meet and greet stuff, sorry!! meatball_nyc Posted February 20, 2014 #207 Share Posted February 20, 2014 Yup. That would be a good place for sailaway. Sunday looks pretty good weather-wise, too. 45* and partly sunny! Have a great cruise. We are on her in July. Please come back a post a review! moey142 Posted February 23, 2014 #213 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Does anyone know what's in the center of deck 10? There are cabins on either side but no inside cabins from what I can see on the pictures.
meatball_nyc Posted February 23, 2014 #214 Share Posted February 23, 2014 I've asked that, as well as another person, in a different post, but no one replied. So we don't know! We are on deck 10 too, this July. If you find out please let us know! EBONI325 Posted April 17, 2014 #216 Share Posted April 17, 2014 I think it may be where the studio cabins are. I stayed in the studios, on deck 10 and they're in the center with balconies on either side, there are no inside cabins in this area.
meatball_nyc Posted April 17, 2014 #217 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Thank you Eboni. Here's a link to another thread where chengkp75 describes what the empty space is at the aft. But I'm still wondering about the big white space in the middle, mid-ship. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2021377 Robin Norwegian Breakaway July 2014 Carnival Miracle 2010 Carnival Legend 2006 Every Day at Sea is a Great Day
Jacy613 Posted April 19, 2014 #218 Share Posted April 19, 2014 Can anyone tell me if the balcony in a Haven Penthouse on deck 16 is one of those tiny ones or is there enough space to request a lounger be put out there? thanks to all who have posted such wonderful tips and ideas. It is very much appreciated! Jacy
sasha96 Posted April 20, 2014 #219 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Does splash academy put bracelets on the kids for the week? DCL did. They were annoying but did tag the kids with gps.
douglasap8 Posted July 26, 2014 #220 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Bumping this back up. Can anyone confirm the height restriction on the water slides? I know the big ones are 48", but what about the smallest blue one? Someone said 40", while others make a sweeping statement that it's 48" for all. I'm really hoping for 40" on the smaller one so my kids can enjoy it. Thanks!
meatball_nyc Posted July 26, 2014 #221 Share Posted July 26, 2014 I don't remember seeing any loungers on the Haven balconies. We didn't use Splash Academy. Sorry! 40" should be fine for all water slides. Have fun! ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day
NYreadytogo Posted July 26, 2014 #222 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Does splash academy put bracelets on the kids for the week? DCL did. They were annoying but did tag the kids with gps. The kids did have a bracelet for the week, though I don't know if there was any gps. As to the water slides, my 4 year old daughter went on the "family" slide (the blue open one) last year without any problems - so I don't think they have any enforced height limits for that one, and my small 6 year old was able to go on the medium slide, so I think even there there's some leeway (he was not 48). meatball_nyc Posted January 22, 2015 #224 Share Posted January 22, 2015 You need to make reservations for the Ice Bar. Easy to do. Options are: call the reservation # from your cabin phone, iConcierge app on your iPhone once onboard or at the desk outside the bar.
