Secret River - who to book tour with?

Family has decided that they want to do the Secret RIver tour when we go to Cozumel in January....Anyone have suggestions on what tour to do?

When we investigated this option our take was that booking through the ship was the best choice. Reasons being it wasn't that much more $$ than a private tour and with the distance of the trip being what it is (trip to mainland) the cost savings wasn't worth the risk of being late for the ship.

 

Sorry, I don't have an answer to a specific tour operator, just wanted to give our perception on the excursion.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the Cruise Ship tour is probably the best option......Secret River here I come....

Would love to hear about your time when you get back. The tour seemed to have all positive reviews. Unfortunately right when we went to book, the tour disappeared from the list. We booked the Bar Hop instead, and then OF COURSE the secret river excursion came back on the list. So maybe next time.
