really to noisy?

We just off the Glory on July 2. We were in cabin 2205 which is an interior stateroom all the way forward on the starboard side of the Main deck. Because we were so far forward, there was very little traffic in the hallway except for the drunks next door to us. Also we were far enough forward to be located behind the stage of the Amber Palace. The only real noise we heard was the occaisional crash of a wave on the bow of the ship, except for the one night the drunks came in real late. Also on debarkation at Port Canaveral, the ship made port before we had gotten up, and then there were all kinds of whining sounds from the equipment in the front of the ship. Other port days didn't bother us because we were always up on deck as the ship made port.

I can say that the sounds really never bothered us. We didn't need ear plugs to sleep.

Hope this helps. Whereabout on the Main deck are you located? I can imagine if you are located somewhere midship that the hall noise could bother you. It seemed that noise from the hall was much louder than noise from adjoining staterooms.

We were in #2383 in an OV which is under the galley, and yes, it was very noisy every night in the middle of the night. We were awakened by carts rolling, silverware noise, etc. for long periods of time. We talked with the Purser's Desk, and they said they would move us if they could, but the ship was filled to capacity.
