Children in a cabin with no adults

Actually, Carnival rules state that guests under 21 must be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 25 IN THE SAME STATEROOM. If you get your kids a separate room and they are loud/disruptive, I will be that cruiser that will complain that an adult is not staying in their room.

 

Actually it says this:

 

(f) Carnival shall refuse boarding to any Guest under the age of twenty-one unless: (1) the Guest is traveling in the same stateroom with an individual twenty-five years or older; (2) traveling in the same stateroom with their spouse; or (3) traveling with a parent or guardian in an accompanying stateroom. Proof of age and/or proof of marriage are required. Carnival shall not be liable to make any refunds or for any damages with respect to any Guest’s failure to provide proper proof of age or marriage or otherwise comply with this provision.

 

The in the same stateroom rule applies to non-families.

There are parents on every cruise who think that their kids are "Special" and "More adult" so they let them run wild. Most of the time it does not bother me because it is not all or even most of the kids on board but just a few. My boys are social so are planning on spending most of their time in Adventure Ocean. My husband and I are taking bets about how infrequently they will want to be with Mom and Dad.. Sigh..

 

More parents are like me, make sure the kids are supervised at all times, than the other kind.
