Cruise director on TRIUMPH?

My mother loved him and

I thought he did a good job. Informative and entertaining. A bit corny - but I think that's to be expected on cruises!!! LOL

Considering the passenger make up of the cruises- its gotta be a balancing act!!!

What is the criteria for being an excellent CD?

I would say that a good cruise director at a minimum should be able to give people proper information rearding gangway locations, times to reboard the ship, answer simple questions about the ship and Carnival in general, provide useful information regarding activities, ports, contact information for emergencies on shore in the Capers...

All things that were lacking in Matt's performance. I'm generally pretty easy to please when it comes to a cruise director but the last 3 cruises I have been on the CDs have gotten progressively worse.
