Fulton Street Parking - New Orleans

After my Xmas cruise, I need to find a place to leave my car for the day. This is to allow me to me a friend, from the NCL cruise ship. She wants me to pick her up via my car but I am concerned that I won't easily find her and not be allowed to hang around in my car near the terminal.

 

I am thinking that it may be easier to park my car for the day at the Fulton Garage.

 

Can someone answer the questions below;

 

1. Can you just show up at the garage and park without reservation.

2. Is it an easy walk from the garage to the Julie Street Terminal - won't have any luggage.

3. Will I be allowed to walk to the Julie street terminal to where people get off so that I can meet her.

 

My other option is to get her to meet me say at the Walmart a few blocks away. The only problem is that she does not know N.O.

Yes to all 3. We park here and take their shuttle service to the terminal or sometimes we just walk if the weather is nice. Good location, good price and reservations not needed unless there is a major convention in town. You can go to their website to check availability. You will be ok. We will be heading out again in Jan and this is where we start from. Google Earth will give you an idea of how the walk will be. Looking at the convention center go to Julia Street then walk behind the convention center.
