Restaurants near cruise ship pier

Does anyone know of any good local restaurants near the cruise ship pier? We like to have lunch when we're in a port and sample the local food.

It has been over a couple of years since I have been to Belize but if I can recall there, where the ship tenders drop you off, there are some shops and little eatery. I do not know if they just offer snacks or actual meals but we did see people sitting around and drinking the local beer ( I cannot remember the name of it, right now, Someone can help me with this one). There is not a whole lot there at the pier so it shouldn't be hard to miss. Now, this area could have changed some since it has been couple of years. We will be in Belize the end of Nov for only about 6 hrs so I was thinking that DH & I would go to the little restaurant and hang out for alittle while and try out the beer. I hope this helps you some. I'm sure some one out there can be more help, though.
