Has anyone ever been to a Luau?

We really want to go to a Luau this cruise. Where can we find info on Luau's?

That is probably the hottest topic on the boards. If you click on "search this forum" and type Luau, you will get tons of topics on luaus.

 

Luaus are everywhere in Hawaii. Which is best is a hotly debated topic. Just figure on which Island you would like to do it, and go from there. You will only be disappointed if your expectations about the food are extraordinarily high. Go for the atmosphere and entertainment.

Yes....5:30 is arrival and I believe it was around 7 by the time food was served and the Imu ceremony was performed. The evening was over by 9.

How far is the hotel from the dock where they pick you up? Thanks.

If you are still talking about Paradise Cove, they come to your hotel and take you to the site...between 30 and 45 minutes away. It can be more if there is heavy traffic. PC picks up at major hotels around Honolulu. When you reserve, you have the option of adding pickup.
