? Carnival freedom advice

Want to book the Freedom. Prefer Emperess deck, but seems to be sold out. MY QUESTION: if I book Upper deck, CAN you hear any noise from Promenade deck. It seems like rooms are over casino, bar areas, dance areas. Prefer to be mid-ship, though Aft is okay. Going with 89-year-old mom and she cannot tolerate any sounds that might drift up. Thanks for your help.

We were on the Freedom in August and our Balcony room was fine with no noise but the interior across for the kids, they could hear the lobby bar till about midnight. We were maybe 12 rooms away from the elevators. It was fine for the kids as my daughter stayed out late and my son is 21 and if he was in b4 midnight he said he would play on his phone till the music stopped. It was 6319 and 6321.
