CarnieAddict Posted November 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Anyone have experience with this level? How noisie is above you? We are looking at room 8168 for Hawaii. Its a premium balcony. Looked at the deck below but the only premium balcony left is 500 dollars more and its tucked behind an elevator. Any advice?
JUST TRIPPIN' Posted November 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2013 My wife and I always stay on the deck just below the lido deck. We have never had an issue with noise, but we also tend to stay below the area that is carpeted. We get a cabin in the area that sticks out, room 8190, for example. We also like the rooms across from the stairs and elevators for that quick trip for a coffee in the morning. The only issue you may have is in the morning if they are moving deck chairs on the hardwood above you. Best help I can offer...
CarnieAddict Posted November 5, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Is 8190 a regular balcony or premium balcony?
Publius1787 Posted November 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2013 We stayed in 8272 right below the rear of the Lido and never had any issues. We booked 8277 for our Jan 2014 Hawaiian cruise. We love the Aft Ext balcony cabins and we have never had any issues with noise.
CarnieAddict Posted November 5, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted November 5, 2013 From what I can tell the room I'm looking at is almost bellow the main pool.
qwertysue Posted November 5, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) We have the cabin 2 doors down booked for this year's Thanksgiving cruise. When booking it appeared as a "premium" but it is actually an extended. The cabins along this section have an extended balcony (60sf) and are an 8K The ones tucked behind the elevators on the starboard side have an extended balcony (85sf) and the cabin is a bit bigger at 230sf, which is a 9B. novellaherman Posted November 6, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2013 We booked room 8235 on the spirit and it was our favorite room so far. We did not hear any noise from above or from the elevator. Loved the extra space
