Sparkling cider on board

Hi all, I'm sorry if this question had been asked before..I know that we can bring sparkling apple cider on board, but can we give it to the maitre'd or waiter (or waitress :) ) in either the MDRs or specialty restaurants? My children enjoy them with certain meals (figure it is better than soda IMO).

TIA for any helpful insights that you seasoned cruisers can provide .I hope I don't get flamed for being so "tacky" :D:D

I suppose you can, but you are asking for extra service and you won't be paying a corkage fee. Think of it this way.....would you ask the MDR to keep bottles of your families favorite soda and then have a waiter retrieve the soda when you were dining at a specialty restaurant?

You can simply bring the cider with you and keep in your cabin. When you wish to have it with a meal just bring it along with you. Much easier on the wait staff.

Oh no, that is why I am asking..not sure if we can bring that with us into the dining venues.. thought maybe they don't allow that. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for the service if my children can enjoy the drink, or better yet, do they have it onboard?

Thank you kcwingwalker for your response ;)

I don't know if they have sparkling cider onboard, but you certainly can bring your own to the dining venues.

:)
