I was introduced to Honey & Anthony, early on, during our Roll-Call for the 5-day Maiden Caribbean Cruise. I couldn't wait to meet them on board. I can say that I was pleased & blessed to finally meet them. Dee, you are an inspiration. I truly admire your strength & kindness.

with regard to training service dogs - some of the preliminary training may be done by "lifers" in prison. The articles I read said that these guys did an excellent job. After about 15 months the dogs are transferred "outside" to begin the more intensive training required to become service dogs.

During the 15 months the prisoner is training a dog it gets weekends "outside" with a volunteer family so it does not become instituionalized.

I found that pretty interesting.
