This was the last night were it would be warm on the balcony, so I took advantage of it. Now we are headed home the weather turns cool fast.

Day 7: Last Sea Day

Well it was chilly outside this morning. It is also overcast and looks like it will be a rainy day.

I do have to say for all cruises inside because of the weather it did not seem as crowded has I thought it would be.

Breakfast in MDR was odd. We were seated at a table for 10, but no one on the table was social. Oh well.

We do not self assist when we leave the ship, so I packed up our two suitcases in the morning, with that job done I could enjoy the day.

After lunch we headed to the casino to enroll in the slot tournament. dh made it to the finals.

The finals were held at 3 pm, DH came in 5th but won a t-shirt.

One of our favorite parts of the cruise is the Question and Answer about the ship they hold each cruise with the the CD. Kirk and Adam were great in answering all the questions.

I caught the sun set from our balcony while getting ready for dinner.

Our last dinner in MDR was memorable, we exchanged email address with our tablemates and promised to share pictures. I really enjoyed our wait staff and gave them an extra tip to show them just how much.

The show that night was Carnival Legends, (this is when the guest entertain us has impressions of different singers) We were not dissappointed at all, they were great.

We managed to catch the comedy show before calling it a night.

Last day

We woke up just before we were docking and I managed to get this picture of us going under the bridge from our balcony.

We had #1 tags so we were off the ship by 9:30, put the suitcases in the car and headed to our next stop Atlantic City, NJ. We try to spend one night there on our way home. Bye to the Pride until next Nov.

We had not stayed in Showboat in a while and they offered us a "House of Blues Suite" for free so I booked it.

Summery:

I love the Pride.

Staff: It has the best crew and staff ever. They are always friendly and remember you name.

Food: The food was good as always, and just love the deli and pizza

Entertainment: I was glad they still had the older shows. We were on the Glory in June, and the ships with the 2.0 upgrades have change the entertainment in the theater.

Cabin: Since we cruise so much we have been in all kinds of different cabins. I always book interior or oceanview and then upgrade when I find a price drop. Balcony are still my favorite.

Ports: We cruise for the ship so the ports are not important to me. I do like the Bahamas, but the Caribbean ports are my favorite.

If anyone has any specific questions I will try to answer them

So long until our next cruise.

Sandy, thanks for the review & the great pictures! I didn't see this review as you were posting it...I just saw it on the old Miracle thread ;)!

I'm happy you had a good time....and completely understand your love for the Pride & also the Port of Baltimore. I will miss this ship also!

Halloween looks like fun on the ship...I've never been on a ship for this holiday, but am looking forward to it next year on the Splendor!

You make a lovely witch! :D!
