Is it cheaper to just do the carnival transportation or a cab from Port Everglades back to the airport? There will be 4 of us.....so not sure.

Cabs are your best choice at FLL....esp with 4 people.....the cab line is out on the median

We used a cab last year, very easy, just out the door, $15+ tip.

came home yesterday off the Oasis. Cleared customs (1 hr) long long line,

outside there are tons of cabs (8:30 am). 2 adults + 2 kids. cost $12.10, gave few dollars extra for tip, at a/p in 15 mins. It was like a mini van. Only 3 seats in the back and I sat in the front. We had 1 med suitcase and 3 smaller roller types. It all fit w/o problem.

Cab is the best and cheapest option. For 4 people, depending on luggage you might need an SUV taxi or van. When we disembarked with our 2 sons we had 4 large cases and 4 carry-ons between us and were waiting in the cab line about 5 minutes. When it was our turn, the guy organizing the line told us to stand aside and he would give us the next SUV cab. Took only another few minutes and we were on our way. Same price as regular cab, $15.00 approx.

For sure cab. Unless there is tons of luggage you'll fit easily in a SUV cab. It's a quick and inexpensive run to the airport. Cruise transfers to such an easy ariport are a BIG waste of time and money. You'll see.;)
