Why is the Carnival Inspiration not in Long Beach Today?

My window at work overlooks Long Beach harbor and I have come to expect to see the Carnival Inspiration in port on Monday and Friday. It was not there last Friday and again today. Did Carnival stop using Long Beach? Did the itinerary change? Just curious.:confused:

Does anybody know why the Inspiration is docking at San Pedro (Los Angeles) instead of at her regular port in Long Beach. She usually is in Long Beach every Monday and Friday but for the last week or so, she has been in San Pedro instead. The dock here in Long Beach is empty so it isn't because of another ship.

 

The Carnival Miracle is still docking at Long Beach every Sunday.

I have an officer friend working on the Inspiration. A couple

days ago the ship went into dry dock at Bae Systems Shipyard

in San Francisco.

Leaving on the INSPIRATION this Monday. Haven't heard anything about a port change. I knew the INSPIRATION was in dry-dock, but where did the San Pedro idea come in ? :confused:

Was this a scheduled dry dock? We sail on her on the 25th, so I hope they don't run into any delays!!
