mandylooo Posted November 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Recently I learned you don't have to pay ATM fees. It's a two step process, but I just have to share. Go to the casino and play a slot. Put a $20-$200 credit on your card right at the machine. Pull one play to activate the charge. Then take your card to the cash cage and cash out. Cash in hand no fees.
WISH84 Posted November 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2013 This does work...however; trust me.. the Casino's are aware of this. Try to do it a second time without actually spending any money on the slots, and they will freeze your account and you won't be able to do it a second time. Now, I've gone to the cage and pleaded my case and normally get the lock removed, but it will only happen once per cruise.

It was $6 when I got some money last month. Luckily my bank refunds ATM fees with the receipt.
bambidrummer Posted November 11, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Plus, if you get money out through the slot machine it gets charged to your credit card as entertainment and you get the points or cash back for it. It is a great deal. You can take out as much as $2,000.

It is easy to get the account unlocked. CCL will allow you to draw up to $300 per sitting, for 2 days, then lock the card. Go to the cage and they will remove the lock, if needed. FSUNole Posted November 12, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Better yet, just get a Charles Schwab account and they reimburse all (yes, all... even overseas and even the $15 Las Vegas strip) ATM fees.
