Littleclover Posted July 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2005 We are sailing out on the Empress on Monday morning (fingers crossed - no weather problems) and I can't find any information re: the tv's in the cabins. My DS is taking his portable DVD player to watch movies on the plane and during down time but does the tv in the cabin have someplace I can plug it into? My player came with the red/yellow/white plugs which can be plugged into the tv and then use it as a dvd player on the tv screen. If not, then he and my dad will have to suffer with the small screen, not me, I'll be too busy enjoying my cruise! :D

Littleclover Posted July 12, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted July 12, 2005 This sounds encouraging. Since I am very new to cruising is this the same for all lines or just the ones harrodsfan mentioned.
mdmourges Posted July 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2005 In order to plug into the tv you have to buy a converter that will allow you to hook the portable player in-line with the tv. You can get one at radio shack. Most tv's on cruise ships and in hotels don't have the ports in the front or back of the tv that allow you to hook directly into the tv.
