28 Day Oosterdam Cruise NZ & South Pacific

We are travelling from South Africa and would like comments on doing the 28 day cruise of NZ and South Pacific. Has anyone done this? Given the distance from SA to Aussie, we would like to try and do the two 14 day cruises back to back. We have sailed on the Statendam before and loved it. Thanks for any advice.
