A few questions about parking at NY pier

1. Is there alot of parking?

 

2. Can one passenger be dropped right off at the terminal with luggage and then the driver go park?

 

3. Do they have little jittney/buses that will bring the other passenger back to the terminal like at the airport.

if you are parked on the top level- you can see your car as the ship pulls in to dock after the cruise!

 

A man next to me was using his automatic/ remote car lock - to see if he could unlock the doors from the ship!!! LOL

2. Can one passenger be dropped right off at the terminal with luggage and then the driver go park? Yes - but we just dropped our luggage with a porter (tipped him well) and drove up to park. On the way out, however, I had to go get the car while my husband waited with the luggage on the lower level. Some people managed to break the rules and took their luggage up the escalator and directly to their car.

 

3. Do they have little jittney/buses that will bring the other passenger back to the terminal like at the airport. Not necessary - parking is on the roof of the terminal, next to the ship. You just take the escalator and you're in the terminal.
