Which RCCL ship/class is the most similar to the Splendor?

As far as size none really. The closest would prob be radiance class.

I'd say the Freedom or Voyager class. The Oasis/Allure and Quantum are in the super/mega ship size, the others are smaller, although with many of the features of the Freedom.

Probably the Radiance class and/or the Voyager class class. I'd even venture to say the Freedom class too.

The kids have only been on RCCL's Explorer and NCL's Dawn. They were wondering how the splendor compares.

 

If anyone has ever been on the Exp or Dawn, would you say the splendor is comparable all around?

Splendor will be smack in the middle between NCL Dawn and Explorer of the Seas. So expect more than Dawn but less than Explorer. Fair enough? :)

 

Seriously, try not to compare or go with pre conceived notions. Don't tell your kids that it will be "like a specific ship". Your best bet will be to tell them that it's going to be a new and different experience for all.

Bingo. I don't understand why many people try to overplan and mentally prepare for every little detail. That sucks away most of the fun in trying new thins.
