Anyone book Everglades Holiday Park Airboat tour on their own?

I'm thinking of booking this independently post cruise. I'm curious what is the best way to get there if we don't have a rental car? How far is this from the cruise ship pier. What did you do with your luggage during the tour?

We did this several years ago and really enjoyed it. I think the only way there is by rental car. It is several miles out to it if I am remembering correctly I would say 8-10 miles. Worth doing but not by cab.
