Is it possible to purchase airfare from RCL more than the day before the cruise and still receive a transfer from the airport to the port city.

The Choice Air website will not allow you to book transfers unless you are arriving on the same say as the cruise. However, it might be worth a try to call Choice Air and see if they would manually book the transfer.
