CruiseOnBoard Posted November 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2013 We sailed on the Marina from Venice to Barcelona a week ago. I had an even numbered cabin but when exiting elevators on my floor, I seemed to always go for the wrong side. Yes, I know there are numbers listed on or near the doors of the rooms but someone clued me onto the way "home." When exiting the elevator, look for the phone hanging on the wall, that is the even numbered side. I found out the day before disembarkation, told everyone I saw & to the person they all said, "now someone tells me!"

Old trick LOL Most of us who sail on O know that but I admit it took us more than one cruise to figure it out.
no fuss travel Posted November 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2013 Actually there was quite a posting on this topic a while ago. The colouring of rugs, the telephone and I can't remember all of the other hints were ways of telling which was odd and which was even. I know I always look for the telephone now.
