Princess Cruises South of the Border with Three Ships in 2006-07

Mexican Rivera Program Includes First Golden Princess Sailings on West Coast

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (June 30, 2005) -- Golden Princess will introduce its first West Coast cruises next season as part of Princess' 2006-07 Mexican Riviera cruise program, which features south-of-the-border cruises from both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

In total, three ships -- Diamond Princess, Golden Princess and Island Princess -- will continue Princess' legacy and leadership in Mexico with the itineraries that first brought the line to prominence. Diamond Princess will sail the line's classic roundtrip voyages from Los Angeles, with an additional special holiday voyage aboard Island Princess. Golden Princess will make her West Coast debut with roundtrip sailings from San Francisco and a one-way voyage from Acapulco.

"The Mexican Riviera is where Princess started, and we continue to offer the region's best cruise experience," said Jan Swartz, senior vice president of customer service and sales for Princess. "Our amenity-filled vessels offer more balconies than any other line in Mexico, making a Princess ship the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast overlooking Cabo's majestic Los Arcos or watching Puerto Vallarta's scenic Banderas Bay during sailaway."

Los Angeles passengers can choose from 31 weekly cruises aboard Diamond Princess, or Island Princess' holiday sailing, departing December 20, 2006. Both ships sail on the line's classic seven-day roundtrip itinerary featuring calls at Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. Diamond Princess departs every Saturday between September 23, 2006 and April 28, 2007.

San Francisco passengers will travel aboard Golden Princess for her first West Coast cruises, which include two 10-day roundtrip sailings featuring Acapulco, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas -- offered on April 12 and 22, 2007. The ship also sails on a seven-day voyage between Acapulco and San Francisco on April 5, 2007, with calls at Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.

All Mexican Rivera cruises feature some of the most amenity-filled vessels in the Princess fleet, with such distinctive features as the line's signature Personal Choice Dining, Lotus Spa, extensive children and teen centers, wedding chapels, internet centers, and an extensive array of entertainment options and venues, all in an intimately designed, personalized environment offering the line's renowned Princess Service. Together, the three vessels offer the most balcony staterooms available for Mexican Riviera cruises, perfect for enjoying the area's warm breezes and spectacular sunsets.

Early Booking Discount fares for cruises to the Mexican Riviera begin at $599 per person, based on double occupancy, for a seven-day sailing. Golden Princess' 10-day sailings begin at $1,249. Cruises open for booking on July 16, 2005.
