Balmoral Island - Upsell to Stingrays

We'll be in Nassau in a couple of week on a Carnival cruise. We've booked an excursion to Balmoral Island. I'm wondering if it's more cost effective to purchase just the beach day for $50, then pay for the stingrays when we get there, or just pay the $70 for the stingray excursion form the get go.

Does anyone know how much it is to purchase the stingray feeding when you get to Balmoral?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you're able to upgrade to the stingrays while on the island. I know you can upgrade to the dolphins, but they never advertised for the stingrays. We bought the stingray excursion ahead of time and loved it. You spend the first 45 mins on the island doing your guide led experience (feeding, holding, etc) but you can go in/out of the pen all day long as much as you'd like for petting them. Definitely worth the money and the beach is so beautiful!
