desertpalm Posted November 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2013 We have three kids and have cruised NCL, Holland America, Carnival and most recently, Disney. We were most happily surprised that Disney offered all-day child care. While I never leave my kids in child care all day long, I do like the fact that I didn't have to worry about picking up at a certain time and dropping off at a certain time. This way, we were able to enjoy adult activities for at least 3-4 hours before picking up the kids. Do any other cruise lines besides Disney do this? NCL, HA and Carnival do not. Thanks! lillotis Posted November 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Just got back from RCL Oasis and only some days was it full time (port days I think). Most days it was 9-12, 2-5, and 7-10.
Lerin Posted November 21, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2013 MSC does(and kids sail free). Possibly Cunard too, I know they changed their child care a year or so ago.
NanciRDH Posted December 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2013 On RCI sea days on Oasis and Allure (possibly others, these I know from experience) you could pay for a "lunch and play", you just had to let them know when you dropped them off in the am, and chose a lunch option for them. DD begged to stay, but we picked her up. DH and I kinda laughed because with this program and the late night party zone it would have been possible to drop her off at 9:00 am and not have to pick her up until 2:00 am. It was formal night, and leaving her for dinner was also an option, though that didn't cost extra. I couldn't imagine doing that, but I'm sure she would have loved it! LOL :p
giselleacttwo Posted December 4, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Princess does full day on port days only. Sea days are 9-12, 1-5 and 6-10 with optional paid babysitting from 10 pm-1am.
